Ingredients:
For Kofta :
Potatos (Boiled)- 3
Corn Flour- 1 cup
Red chilli- 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder- 1/2 tsp
salt - to taste
Oil for frying
For filling:
Dry fruits(chopped)- 1/4 cup
Khoa /Mawa - 1 tbsp
Sour Cream/Malai- 1 tbsp
For Curry:
Dry fruits/Nuts(soaked overnight)- 1/4 cup
Tomato- 2
Dhaniya powder- 2 tsp
Red Chilli - 2 tsp
Cumin seeds
oil- 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Preparation
Kofta filling:
Mix the dry fruits with creme and mawa and keep aside
Kofta:
Mash the potatoes
Mix the other ingredients to make kofta
mix well
Divide in small parts
Make balls of each part
press the ball
fill the filling it
stuff and seal and Keep aside
Repeat for the other balls
Heat oit in a pan
Fry the kofta in the pan
soak the excess oil
Curry:
heat oil in a pan
Add cumin
When the cumin starts sputtering, add tomatoes to the pan and cook for 15 minutes
Add Coriander and Chilli powder to the tomatoes and stir
add salt and water to curry, cook for 5 minutes and keep aside
Add the Kofta to the curry a few minutes before serving.
