Paneer Butter Masala

Ingredients

Khada masala:

Dried red chilli- 2
Bay leaves – 2
Cloves- 2
Cinnamon – 2 inch
Coriander seed - 2 tsp

Paneer - 1 Pack
Butter - 5 tbsp
Oil - 1 tsp
Onion (Sliced) - 1 med
Ginger galic paste - 4 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Tomatoes(chopped) - 3-4
Kasoori methi (crushed) - 1/2 tsp
Cream - 2 tbsp

Preparation:

Heat 2 tbsp butter and oil in a pan and fry kade masale

Add Onion and cook for some time
Add ginger garlic team and cook
Add coriander powder, red chilli powder and tomatoes
Cook on high heat till the oil leaves masala
Grind mixture to paste
heat remaining butter and add the paste to pan
Cook for few minutes

Add paneer and salt
Add 1/2 cup of water and cover the pan
Cook for 5 minutes
Sprinkle kasoori methi and add cream
Serve hot.
