Gobhi Bahar

Ingridients:

Paneer (cut in cubes and fried) - 250 gms
gari ka burada - 1 cup
tomato- 2
Cauliflower floret from 1 small cauliflower
peas - 1 cup

oil- 1 tsp
Ginger (finely chopped) - 1 inch
tej patta- 1
green chilli (slit)- 1
cumin seed - 1 tsp
ground black pepper - 1/4 tsp
hing - pinch
whey from yogurt (can be substituted with water)
turmeric - 1 tsp
salt to taste

Serves 8

Preparation

blanch and peel tomatoes and grind them with coconut untill smooth paste is formed

Heat oil , add hing, ginger, tej patta , cumin , pepper and chilli

when ginger is golden,add tomato paste and cook till the raw smell goes away

Add turmeric and garam masala  and saute for 2 minutes

Add cauliflower and let iit cook for 5 minutes

Add whey and salt and peas and bring mixture to boil

Put the paneer in and stir for 1 minute

garnish with mint and goriander.
